They also had an almost satiny feel to them-compared to Parachute's almost-garment-washed-but-not texture-which I didn't like as much, but others might prefer them. Don't get me wrong, these sheets were still much softer (and more breathable) and more luxe than the cheaper sheets I've used in the past, but compared to the Parachute sheets, I did notice that they were slightly less soft. In comparison to those, these sheets were way more breathable-the Parachute sheets just took it a step further. Prior to this experiment, I was using sheets from Target that were cute but not that perfect mix of cozy-but-light that I always hope for. They still passed my sweat test, but I didn't feel as cool and comfortable. Feeling both of these sheets at the same time, you can tell that the Brooklinen sheets are a touch thicker, which also made them feel less lightweight and breathable to me. Less breathable and not as lightweight.If you prefer patterned sheets, this is definitely a major perk. Parachute's percale sheet set has seven different solid colors to choose from at the moment, while Brooklinen currently has 10 available for this particular sheet set, including a few basic patterns. The pillowcases, fitted sheet, and top sheet were all wrapped up in one plastic wrapper, making the whole set less of an effort to open and leaving less packaging for the trash, which did make me feel better, personally. And again, if you don't use top sheets, you're paying the same price but for one less piece.

They're like a thinner, crisper version of your favorite t-shirt, and they feel luxe to lounge in without being too warm.
